为提高el teniente洞采铜矿产量，codelco签署了一份铜精矿车间改造合同。
智利国企codelco计划于未来5年向下属的四个主要的工厂mina ministro alejandro hales, chuquicamata subterraneo, nueva andina fase 2 和 el teniente投资160亿美元。
据瑞士签约商foster wheeler ag透露，本次合同规定的工程任务计划于二季度完工。内容包括给料系统和钼加工车间改造，这将可以提高铜精矿产量。
el teniente矿山年产精炼铜约40.4万吨，钼5190吨。
